We at Visual Mash regularly use different lighting consoles for lighting and media control, we're real fans of the MagicQ, its packed full of features. A modular system that can be as small as a laptop/tablet or a huge system with up to 8 playback wings! Each wing having 24 faders plus 10 on the console (or PC wing), giving you the option of up to 202 playback faders! There's a 100 pages of these. Each page loads different cue stacks on to the faders changing the look/show on each fader, groups of faders can be on different pages simultaneously. Then there's the powerful user configurable Execute Window on the touch screen, if you don't need a fader put it as a button on the execute window. If you need an extra fader you can put a virtual one on the execute window. The Execute Window Supports a lot of functions. There's also a the Media Window, Timeline Window, Bitmap and Video Mapping (Pixel Mapping) for LED or other arrays of lights, powerful user definable Macros, you can even control MagicQ from the other side of the world via web enabled devices (including most mobile phones) this is more commonly used locally for focusing/spoting lights or testing.
